Tammy Bui moved to the U.S. in 2013 and initially studied accounting. However, after three years of working with numbers, her childhood passion for beauty\u2014which began with sewing clothes for her dolls and meticulously painting their tiny nails\u2014still burned brightly. After graduating, she shifted her focus to the nail industry, working as a receptionist at her family’s salon.<\/p>\n

She then spent three years working as a technician at various salons. During this time, she began to get a multifaceted view of the industry, and a big question formed in her mind: “Why don’t many nail salons have a clear management system, leaving owners constantly spinning their wheels?”<\/p>\n

At one point, this question made Tammy Bui consider leaving the profession. But destiny had other plans. In 2021, she moved to Texas, her husband’s home state, to pursue a new opportunity: running a liquor store with him. It wasn’t until a friend invited her to work at a nail salon that she returned to the industry. This time, however, she wouldn’t just be a technician; she would be a creator.<\/p>\n

Initially, Tammy Bui was only invited to work as a technician. But with her past experiences and strong personality, she wasn’t content with a monthly income of only about five thousand dollars. She proposed a different role to her friend: development partner. Her decision proved to be an excellent one. Within a short time, the salon went from two technicians (both over 60 years old) to a staff of 25, complete with a full team including a manager, receptionist, and cleaning crew. In April 2025, she officially took over the entire salon, comprehensively upgrading its techniques and services. She also applied her knowledge of management, finance, marketing, and law to transform the nail salon into a true business, something many long-time owners have yet to achieve.<\/p>\n

After a journey of more than a decade, Tammy Bui has now become a professional coach and nail business coach. She trains nail salon owners on professional operational strategies, business management, financial balance, and tax law, drawing on the knowledge she acquired from international coaching masters like Tony Robbins. She constantly repeats a core message: “If nail salon owners want to hold the key to success, they must put down the nail file.”<\/em> Her goal is to empower owners to step out from behind the technician’s chair and take the helm of their businesses.<\/p>\n
