On the evening of March 16th, the “Women fair breast Embellishment and Protection” program\u2019s announcement event for free breast-cancer screening using MAMMOMAT fusion mammography technology, has already been launched at Nikko Saigon Hotel in HCM City.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The program will implement free breast cancer screening for women aged 40 and over, prioritizing mothers who have given birth and those with financial difficulties in the suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City and its remote areas.<\/p>\n

The “Women fair breast Embellishment and Protection” program\u2019s announcement event will have the attendance of experts and doctors working in fields such as Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Oncology: Assoc.Prof Nguyen Dinh Tung, MD.PhD (Chairman of Hue Breast Cancer Society and Scientific Director of EMCAS Hospital), Assoc.Prof Le Hanh, MD.PhD (Chairman of Vietnamese Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), Dr. Pham Xuan Khiem (Director of EMCAS hospital). In addition, there was also the attendance of Mr. Marko Walde (Chief Representative of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam), Mr. Philipp Breschan (CEO of Siemens Healthcare), and associate professors teaching in faculties such as Oncology, Orthopedic Trauma, and Odonto-Stomatology at HCM City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.<\/p>\n

Assoc.Prof Nguyen Dinh Tung, MD. PhD (Chairman of Hue Breast Cancer Society and Scientific Director of EMCAS Hospital, also the initiator for the \u201cWomen fair breast Embellishment and Protection\u201d program, spoke at the event.<\/em><\/p>\n

At the event, Assoc.Prof Nguyen Dinh Tung, representative of EMCAS Plastic Surgery Hospital and also the program initiator, together with Mr. Philipp Breschan, CEO of Siemens Healthcare Company, signed the provisional agreement of equipment and technology transfer, which marked the start of the program. Accordingly, EMCAS Plastic Surgery Hospital will be equipped with a modern imaging system from Siemens Healthcare, including the MAMMOMAT Fusion X-ray mammography system and the 3.0 Testla MAGNETOM Lumina magnetic resonance imaging system.<\/p>\n

In addition, the 3.0 Testla MAGNETOM Lumina magnetic resonance system, one of the first in Vietnam with BioMatrix technology, allows in-depth and accurate diagnosis. This will be an effective assistant to the comprehensive health check-up program in general and early diagnosis of breast tumors in particular at EMCAS Hospital; early detection of local recurrent lesions and distant metastasis after cancer treatment, as well as complications of breast aesthetic surgery, breast conservation, and breast reconstruction.<\/p>\n

The program “Women fair breast Embellishment and Protection” was implemented by Assoc.Prof Nguyen Dinh Tung and the EMCAS Plastic Surgery Hospital with the goal of helping women understand the importance of regular health check-ups. The program will integrate a satisfactory mail managing system, including the MAMMOMAT Fusion mammography machine and ultrasound machine, into the server, completely free for everyone.<\/p>\n

Mobile vehicle model for free breast cancer screening<\/em><\/p>\n

Breast cancer is one of the most common and deadly cancers in women. However, if a patient discovers cancer or cancer risk early, especially in the pre-cancerous stage, the chances of a cure will increase, up to 90\u201395% chance of complete recovery.<\/p>\n

Regular breast cancer screening helps to detect precancerous lesions or early cancers, even if the patient has not had any signs of breast disease. Early detection of cancerous pathogens helps patients shorten treatment time and reduce costs. In addition, early breast cancer treatment also improves the quality of live for patient by breast conservation and regeneration. This is a safe and highly accurate breast health check-up method that has become very popular in recent years.<\/p>\n
