The 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards, chosen by the actors themselves, honored some of the outstanding television and film performances of the year on Sunday at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The hit movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once” continued to gain popularity throughout the evening, with its actors Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ke Huy Quan collecting acting honors in their respective categories.<\/p>\n

The film picked up the night\u2019s biggest award for ensemble in a motion picture, female actor for Michelle Yeoh<\/a>, and both supporting actor awards, for Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of her tearful address, Yeoh stated, \u201cI think if I speak, my heart will explode.\u201d She declared, “This is not just for me; it’s for every girl that looks like me.” \u201cThank you for giving me a seat at the table.\u201d<\/p>\n

Only four films have won three SAGs since the awards’ inception in 1995, but Everything Everywhere All at Once has eclipsed that record with four victories.<\/p>\n

In the run-up to the Academy Awards, Everything Everywhere All at Once took home a number of prestigious honors, including the Producers Guild Award for Best Picture and the Directors Guild Award for Best Director. It has received the most nominations for the upcoming Oscars, which will be held on March 12.<\/p>\n
