The cool lines and trailblazing late-70s vibe of the Tissot PRX made it an instant classic when it was relaunched in 2021. The free-thinking, design-first spirit of the 1978 original translated so naturally into our time. The slender silhouette fits perfectly under a shirt cuff or a jacket sleeve, fitting seamlessly with the chosen outfit, never stealing the limelight but making sure the wearer shines \u2013 and that he\u2019s always on time. Colours, materials, movements\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n

The brand\u2019s iconic collection is being dressed up in new colours; the highly anticipated ice blue on the automatic version, as well as a silver and blue dial on the automatic chronograph. Additionally, a special feature has been added to one of the model, with a completely coated Super-LumiNova<\/span>\u00ae <\/span>dial. The wearer will shine, day and night. But that’s not all, new straps will also be part of the new release package. In addition to its recent leather strap releases, available in blue and black, Tissot is completing its range with rubber straps, for all-terrain comfort, in white or black.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Keeping the same slight tonneau shape and slim polished bezel, the dial of the automatic <\/span>model has been given a new colour, a prominent ice blue, while retaining its chequered pattern dial. The relief is printed in the metal itself, the hallmark that instantly distinguishes the PRX Powermatic 80 from its quartz counterparts. Tissot also wants to offer more accessorising options, and therefore proposes new models with either black or blue dials on new rubber straps for even greater comfort, without compromising on style.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop and start in style\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n

The PRX line was first joined by the high-functioning PRX Automatic Chronograph last year. <\/span>This 42mm satin-finished steel watch follows the PRX\u2019s sleek, angular form, adding to the laid back 1970s sports watch style<\/a> with a so-called \u2018panda\u2019 dial, with blue subdials this time around, on a silver background. The PRX Automatic Chronograph is powered by the Valjoux A05.H31 calibre, which will provide the design with the classic 3, 6 and 9 chronograph dial layout and an extended 60-hour power reserve.<\/span><\/p>\n

To each his own\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n

The PRX quartz model, a reference that recalls that of the original model, is also entitled to its novelty, with the blue and black dial versions also available with a black rubber strap. There is one model that stands out from the rest, however. Indeed, Tissot wanted to release a new feature, which provides a totally different style and attribute, with an off-white dial and a rubber as a reminder of the latter. But that’s not all. The particularity of this watch is quite different, and it is a first for Tissot<\/a>. The dial has been completely covered with Super-LumiNova<\/span>\u00ae<\/span>. This very clear new option, which stands out, will make the wearer shine, without stealing the show.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
