The Met Gala is the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual charity event. The event, hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, was held in New York City, but designers and celebrities worldwide flew in to participate. The theme that year was Goddess, and the media expected visitors to wear beautiful designs reminiscent of the Greek gods.
