LAVYON:<\/b> Mr. Ford, could you highlight some of your key accomplishments in 2024?<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> This year has been extraordinary, marked by accomplishments I hold dear. I successfully completed and premiered <\/span>Fragile Flower<\/span><\/i> in multiple countries. Additionally, I founded two major nonprofit organizations: the <\/span>Homeless Cities Foundation<\/b>, which is spearheading the creation of the first city for homeless individuals in the U.S., and the <\/span>Vietnam Community and Museum Foundation<\/b>, dedicated to establishing a Vietnamese community center and museum in Little Saigon, Orange County.<\/span><\/p>\n

I also celebrated milestones as the founder of the Hollywood Film Festival and the 10th anniversary of the Asian World Film Festival. Looking ahead, I\u2019m thrilled about forthcoming projects, including films on the Tr\u01b0ng Sisters, Father Tr\u01b0\u01a1ng B\u1eedu Di\u1ec7p, and Vietnam\u2019s 4,000-year journey with rice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Proudest Moments and Challenges<\/b><\/h3>\n

LAVYON:<\/b> Reflecting on 2024, what makes you most proud? What challenges have you faced?<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> Witnessing my dreams materialize has been profoundly rewarding. However, my greatest challenge is maintaining balance while nurturing the growth of these diverse projects, ensuring each one receives the attention it deserves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Plans for 2025<\/b><\/h3>\n

LAVYON:<\/b> What major plans or goals do you have for the coming year?<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> I intend to continue advancing my current projects while also launching new real estate and film ventures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> Absolutely. I\u2019ll focus on four major films that delve into historical and cultural narratives. Additionally, I aim to elevate the Hollywood Film Festival to rival the world\u2019s most prestigious cinematic events.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> This initiative represents a pivotal step for the Hollywood Film Festival, fostering collaborations with some of the world\u2019s most talented filmmakers.<\/span><\/p>\n

LAVYON:<\/b> What do you enjoy most about working with international teams? Are there any challenges?<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> I\u2019m invigorated by their creativity and unique perspectives. However, navigating cultural and professional differences remains a consistent challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

LAVYON:<\/b> How about Vietnamese filmmakers? Do you have plans to collaborate with them?<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> Absolutely. I\u2019m already partnering with two production companies in Vietnam to bring historical and cultural stories to the screen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Community and Social Initiatives<\/b><\/h3>\n

LAVYON:<\/b> Could you update us on your senior housing project?<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> We\u2019ve completed over 3,000 housing units in California and are actively expanding with new developments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Vo Ford:<\/b> This cause is deeply personal. With a nearly $80 billion budget, the project is designed to support over 584,000 homeless individuals across the U.S., creating transformative change.<\/span><\/p>\n

LAVYON:<\/b> If you could share one message with the Vietnamese community for 2025, what would it be?<\/span><\/p>\n
