Returning to cinema with the film <\/span>Face Off 7: One Wish<\/span><\/i>, I had the honor of contributing to a Vietnamese film record with a box office revenue nearing 500 billion VND and over 2.6 million viewers. Following that, I continued my journey with the TV series <\/span>B\u01b0\u1edbc ngo\u1eb7t<\/span><\/i> and the Tet film <\/span>Y\u00eau nh\u1ea7m b\u1ea1n th\u00e2n<\/span><\/i>. Additionally, I ventured into entrepreneurship, launching my own company, YouTube channel, and functional food product lines.<\/span><\/p>\n It has truly been an \u201cexplosive\u201d year for me!<\/span><\/p>\n Among all the achievements you’ve had this past year, which one are you most proud of?<\/b><\/p>\n First, I must express my gratitude to <\/span>Face Off 7: One Wish<\/span><\/i> and its producer Ly Hai for trusting me and selecting me to be part of the film. I am proud of everything I have accomplished over the past year. As for the greatest source of pride, I think it would have to be\u2026 achieving all of this in just half a year (laughs).<\/span><\/p>\n And what about 2025? Have you planned a new journey that will be even more explosive than the past year?<\/b><\/p>\n In 2025, I will continue striving to maintain this dynamic work pace. Besides that, I am nurturing plans to release a book, produce films, and launch a reality TV show. At present, I have an abundance of energy to break through, and I intend to make the most of it.<\/span><\/p>\n Could you tell us more about your business with functional food products?<\/b><\/p>\n The first product I developed is a supplement to support sleep. Having personally gone through a long period of insomnia, I wanted to help people facing the same challenge. After that, I introduced an energy-boosting product and a brain-boosting supplement, all made from natural herbal ingredients, with a clear origin and properly certified.<\/span><\/p>\n Insomnia, lack of energy, and memory loss\u2014these are issues I have personally faced. What I\u2019ve had to overcome, I understand deeply. From that understanding, I can help others like myself achieve noticeable improvement.<\/span><\/p>\n As for the reality TV show, what will the content be about?<\/b><\/p>\n It will showcase stories from my life\u2014my work, my filmmaking process, my shows, and the relationships surrounding me. I want the audience to gain a fresh and entirely new perspective on William Truong.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Recently, you\u2019ve been seen frequently with Trac Thuy Mieu, and your beautiful friendship has gained much attention. Could you share more about the relationship between you two?<\/b><\/p>\n Trac Thuy Mieu and I have known each other for nearly 20 years, even before I moved to the U.S. She was a journalist and had interviewed me a few times. After I moved to the U.S., we continued to stay in touch and talk regularly. Last year, when I came back to Vietnam, she invited me to her <\/span>Madame Show<\/span><\/i> in \u0110\u00e0 L\u1ea1t to celebrate her birthday. During this time, we filmed some content that went viral on social media. Since then, we\u2019ve been in touch even more and have officially collaborated on several projects.<\/span><\/p>\n Regarding family, do you have any special plans for 2025?<\/b><\/p>\n Recently, I took the opportunity to visit my mother in the U.S, and next year, I plan to bring her back to Vietnam for a visit. My children have all grown up now, and some are even as tall as 1.8 meters (laughs). My family doesn\u2019t want the younger ones to be involved in showbiz\u2014they prefer a peaceful life, so I don\u2019t publicize much about them.<\/span><\/p>\n As for me, I am currently single. At this point in my life, I just want to focus on my work. Honestly, I\u2019m enjoying being single\u2014feeling strong and free (laughs).<\/span><\/p>\n As for the book you\u2019re working on, what special information can we expect in it?<\/b><\/p>\n The most significant aspect of this book will be the key milestones in my acting career. I\u2019ve always believed that we only live once. This journey contains invaluable experiences that we can\u2019t take with us when we leave this world. Therefore, I want to preserve the most authentic parts of myself\u2014William Truong, a singular entity that exists in this world, with no second one.<\/span><\/p>\n Having participated in so many activities in 2024 and already planning intensely for 2025, how do you manage to balance such a heavy workload?<\/b><\/p>\n For me, work has always been about doing a lot. Though sometimes it feels overwhelming, I find happiness in it. After a long period of quiet, I want to give my all so I don\u2019t disappoint the audience who has supported me for over a decade.<\/span><\/p>\n You\u2019ve previously mentioned dealing with negative mental health issues, but now, it\u2019s clear that you\u2019re full of positive energy. Has the pressure of your work helped foster this newfound mindset?<\/b><\/p>\n What I\u2019ve achieved in 2024 is a victory over myself. I\u2019ve surpassed the old version of me, overcome the darkness, and started anew in my 50s without fear.
