Solange Dekker, a 28-year-old from the Netherlands, is currently preparing to represent her country at Miss Cosmo 2025. Her path to this international stage is marked by several significant achievements in the world of beauty pageants and a personal story of resilience.
Solange’s career in pageantry began in 2019 when she represented the Netherlands at Miss Trans Star International in Barcelona, where she was awarded the “Miss Evolution 2019” title. That same year, she made a pioneering mark as one of the first transgender contestants to compete in a traditional Dutch pageant, Miss Beauty of Noord-Holland.
In 2022, her ambition led her to the casting for Miss Universe Netherlands. She was selected as a Top 5 finalist and also took home the Miss Social Media Award. However, her most widely recognized victory came in 2023 when she was crowned Miss International Queen in Pattaya, Thailand. This historic win made her both the first Dutch and the first European contestant to claim the prestigious title.
Now, as Miss Cosmo Netherlands 2025, she is a contestant in the second edition of Miss Cosmo. The pageant’s activities, with the theme “Rising Dragon,” are scheduled to take place across several Vietnamese cities, including Huế, Lâm Đồng, and Tây Ninh, before the grand finale in Ho Chi Minh City on December 20, 2025.
Outside of pageantry, Solange is a public speaker, model, and host. Her work often involves sharing her life experiences, from overcoming a difficult childhood and financial hardship to advocating for mental health.
