Face masks are quick, effective, and totally fun. Here, five ways to get your glow on tonight.

Gel
“Gel masks used to be drying, but in the last year we’ve seen lightweight ones with the lasting effects of a cream,” says Whitney Bowe, a New York-based dermatologist and the author of the forthcoming book The Beauty of Dirty Skin. Try La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Mask ($20), which has hyaluronic acid and soothing spring water.
Clay
Like a deep-cleaning dirt magnet for your face, clay masks “pull debris out of pores and help with oil control,” says Bowe. Skin & Lab Pink Clay Facial Mask ($24) also has calamine to reduce redness.
Sheet
Single-use sheet masks, like Simple Skincare Water Boost Hydrating Sheet Mask ($2.50 each), are ideal for a blast of hydration. Pop the package in the fridge before you apply— the coolness can help calm inflammation and even ease a migraine!
Combo
Make a personalized skin cocktail with Starskin JuiceLab Power C+ Booster Mask in Twist & Sprout ($14). The kit includes a sheet mask dotted with vitamin C and a serum infused with wheat sprout and celery. Pour the serum onto the mask to activate the acids and cleanse skin.

Bubble
H2O+ Rapids Soothing Probiotic Bubble Mask ($6) is a fizzy pick-me-up for combination skin. It uses yuzu and Champagne extracts (seriously!) to even out tone.
