The 34-year-old actress also said rumors and campaigns calling for her boycott on social networks could not change her casting decision because “they had no basis of reality”. “Only the real fans will make Aquaman and Aquaman 2 come out,” she emphasized. “I’m so excited to start filming next year.”

Amber Heard spoke up after it was rumored that she was in danger of being eliminated from Aquaman’s second season. Amber boycott wave took place strongly on social networks earlier this week. On November 11, a letter posted on the Change page asking Warner Bros. to remove Amber Heard from the DC movie universe attracted 900,000 viewers to sign. They accused Amber of being a domestic violence person and who deliberately ruined Johnny Depp’s career after his divorce in 2016.

Many Johnny Depp fans were angry with Amber Heard after the actor was cut off by Warner Bros as the dark witch Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3. After Johnny lost the lawsuit against The Sun and was determined by the judge to beat his wife, today November 6, the studio asked the actor to withdraw from the film to avoid risk and he agreed. Johnny Depp accepted to give up the role but he vowed to appeal and fight to the end.
