In the framework of the “An Evening of Appreciation” event, the Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City officially presented grants to many reputable social organizations, marking a meaningful fundraising journey for the International Charity Bazaar 2025.
On December 9, the Consular Club HCMC hosted “An Evening of Appreciation,” a night to express gratitude to the partners, sponsors, and the community who have supported the organization throughout 2025. The event also served as an occasion to summarize and announce the fundraising results from the International Charity Bazaar 2025, the largest annual international charity fair initiated and organized by the Consular Club HCMC in Ho Chi Minh City on November 8 previously.

Held in a solemn yet warm atmosphere, the program gathered representatives from various Consulates General, international associations, businesses, social organizations, and beneficiaries. At the event, the Consular Club HCMC presented grants worth VND 150 million to each organization, including: HCMC Women’s Charity Association; Friends for Street Children, an organization supporting street children; Newborns Vietnam, an organization working in healthcare for newborns and premature babies; and Breast Cancer Network Vietnam. These are all reputable non-profit organizations, operating for many years in the fields of healthcare, education, women, and children, making positive and sustainable impacts on the community.

The event not only marked the tangible results of the fundraising activities but also demonstrated the commitment to transparency, social responsibility, and the spirit of sharing from the international diplomatic community in Ho Chi Minh City towards social issues in Vietnam. In addition to the exchange, summary, appreciation, and grant presentation, the auction of items donated by various philanthropists was also a memorable highlight of the event. All profits generated from the auction will continue to be added to the Consular Club HCMC’s charity fund, further spreading humanitarian values and providing practical, sustainable support for programs benefiting women, children, and vulnerable communities in Vietnam in the future.

The Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City is a non-profit organization established in 1994, comprising the spouses and representatives of Consulates General, diplomatic agencies, and the international community living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. Over more than three decades of operation, the Consular Club HCMC has become an important bridge between the international community and social organizations in Vietnam, with the goal of fundraising, supporting, and improving the quality of life for vulnerable groups. The International Charity Bazaar is a typical landmark, clearly demonstrating the spirit of humanity, cooperation, and community responsibility that the Consular Club HCMC constantly pursues.
