‘Jurassic World’ shoot suspended after crew members test positive for COVID-19

The announcement was made on Jurassic World: Dominion’s Twitter on October 7. Covid-19 positive cases of ointment are now quarantined. Immediately after that, all actors and crew members were tested. Even though they all gave negative results, the production schedule of the movie was paused according to regulations.

Before that, when crew Jurassic World: Dominion returned to set in the UK in mid-August, the cast got three health checks every week to make sure they’re healthy. Universal Studios spends $ 9 million on the crew’s epidemic prevention. This money is used for a hotel covered by the film crew for 20 weeks of filming in the UK, a 107-page disease prevention manual, 18,000 nCoV test samples for actors and crew members, 150 bottles of hand sanitizer.

In the safety manual of the epidemic, Universal studios describe the infrared temperature scanners that anyone must go through when they reach the set. The crew’s food is housed in vacuum boxes and supplied by a crew wearing a mask, behind plastic partitions. The setting of the film is a self-contained film set – usually only used for intimate and sensitive scenes. Before the film started, the site was sprayed for disinfection. When filming, the actor wears his own mic.

A few days before being paused for a covid-19 cast, Jurassic World: Dominion was confirmed to delay release from 2021 to 2022. This did not come from production issues or being affected by Disease. The reason is that Universal does not want to enter the fierce competition of Hollywood next year, when a series of blockbuster delays this year will go to theaters.

Along with Jurassic World: Dominion, the 007 Bond: No Time To Die spy movie reversed from this year to early 2021, while the blockbuster Fast & Furious 9 racing was postponed until May next year.
