Lash and Headspa Expert Jaslynn Lê: Customer Satisfaction is My Happiness!

Lash and headspa expert Jaslynn Lê shares that she has often received heartfelt thanks from her customers, including sincere hugs and even forehead kisses, expressing their satisfaction.

On March 9th, the Plasma Lift – Meet The Beauty Experts event was a resounding success in California, creating a meaningful networking space for beauty industry professionals. Organized by Hannah Nguyễn, the event was not only a place for exchange and learning but also marked the launch of Hybrid Cold Pro Plasma technology, promising breakthroughs in non-invasive beauty treatments.

Jaslynn Le, with over 24 years of industry experience, presented the topic “Headspa – Eastern Medicine for American,” introducing the combination of Eastern medicine and modern beauty methods.

Hello Jaslynn Lê! It’s a pleasure to meet you today and hear about your journey and experience in the beauty industry. First, could you introduce yourself and your business area?

Hello! I’m Jaslynn Lê, currently living and working in Texas. I’m a lash and headspa expert, operating in the beauty industry with on-site services and online and in-person training. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to share my professional journey with everyone today!

How did you start in the beauty industry? What made you passionate and committed to this field?

Initially, I entered the beauty industry simply because I needed a job to make a living. But after 10 years, when I switched to doing lashes, I began to feel my passion clearly. What makes me happiest is when I make a customer happy and they feel more confident and joyful. Many people express their gratitude with hugs, and some even kiss my forehead. Those are the moments when I realize that, oh, this is no longer just a job, it’s my passion.

Besides lashes, I also love headspa. It’s not just a beauty service; it also helps reduce headaches, limit hair loss, and relieve stress. Especially in America, where everyone is busy and doesn’t have much time to take care of themselves, I want to create services that help them balance their energy and relax to the fullest.

Could you share more about headspa? What’s unique about your service?

Headspa is a therapy that combines beauty and treatment with three popular styles: Japanese, Korean, and Eastern Medicine. My establishment applies the Eastern Medicine style but with adjustments to better suit American customers.

For example, in Eastern Medicine, herbal remedies often have a strong, pungent smell that not everyone can tolerate, especially American customers. Therefore, I switch to milder scents like lavender, which makes them feel more comfortable.

Another special point is that headspa doesn’t require a lot of physical strength; proper technique is enough. Therefore, even older people can pursue this profession without being too strained.

During your work, is there any memory that you’ll always remember?

There’s a story that touched me deeply. One of my customers had a child with blood cancer. When she came to me for a headspa, she said she had heard about headspa but had never tried it.

After the experience, she said the results were beyond her expectations. When she first arrived, she looked very stressed, but after the headspa session, she felt lighter and more refreshed. Before leaving, she hugged me and thanked me, saying it was the first time in months that she had felt so relaxed. Moments like that make me believe even more in the value that this work brings.

What do you think about young people starting a headspa business?

Headspa is a rapidly growing trend, so it’s a very promising field. The important thing is that you have passion and know how to combine it with other services like nails, lashes, PMU, skincare, or relaxing spa treatments.

Many people think that opening a headspa requires a lot of capital, but that’s not necessarily the case. The main expense is rent. You can start with small services and gradually expand as you build a stable customer base.

For those who have worked in other areas of the beauty industry and want to switch to headspa, what advice do you have?

Right now, business decisions need to be very carefully calculated. If you already have a stable job in the beauty industry, I don’t think you should change completely; instead, combine gradually.

For example, if you have a nail salon, add headspa services to give customers more options. This helps diversify services and increase income while maintaining stability. Over time, you can choose which you prefer and specialize in.

Finally, do you have any advice for those working in the beauty industry in general?

Being good at your job isn’t enough; you also need to build your personal brand. In the past, customers sought out services themselves, but now, you have to actively introduce yourself to them.

Use social media to share about your work and the value you bring, so when customers need it, they’ll remember you immediately.

Thank you, and thank you everyone for listening! I hope my sharing will be helpful to those who want to pursue the beauty industry, especially lashes and headspa.
