Many areas in China are heavily polluted, with dense fog

In China’s metropolitan areas such as Beijing, Hebei, and Tianjin, this pollution is even worse. And the reason is still the exhaust gas from the industrial zones.

In Beijing city, air pollution is at medium and high level over the past week. In 2-3 days, PM 2.5 fine dust concentrations that are harmful to the lungs always measured from 150 to more than 200 micrograms / m3. It is full of fog, with no sunlight during the day. The situation is similar in Hebei Province, Tianjin City. It is forecast that pollution will gradually decrease, until March 15, it will be completely gone. In the provinces of Shandong, Shaanxi and Liaoning, the foresight in many areas is only 200 meters, so many highways have to be closed to ensure safety.

The East Asia Green Peace Organization said that the cause of the above situation was due to the fact that industrial complexes in many provinces and near big cities emit polluting emissions. Typically, nearly two-thirds of the pollution causes in Beijing City come from Shandong, Hebei, and Henan.

Recently, the environmental pollution in China has improved significantly thanks to the policy of green economic development. However, environmental pollution in the provinces surrounding big cities is still quite serious. This has affected the living environment in the megacities.
