“Speaking of the Heart”: Miss Cosmo 2025 Yolina Lindquist never thought she would make the Top 5!

The new Miss Cosmo shared that she only had one month to prepare before coming to Vietnam, requiring her to adapt quickly to a completely new environment. This short timeframe forced her to learn to believe in herself and make the most of what she had.

Meanwhile, speaking of the moment she became Runner-up, Chelsea Fernandez shared that reaching the Top 2 was already a source of pride—a victory and recognition for her persistent journey and tireless efforts in representing the Philippines.

When asked about the role of Miss Cosmo 2025 in today’s society, Yolina Lindquist expressed a clear view that the title is not a destination but a starting point for meaningful actions. From projects related to cancer awareness to the desire to accompany vulnerable women and children, she views the crown as a tool to connect and spread impact.

Agreeing with Yolina, Chelsea Fernandez also stated that she does not want her term to be limited to just image-building activities. Both girls aim to participate more deeply in community projects, educational activities, and sustainable social campaigns. They also humorously expressed a wish to visit all the home countries of this year’s contestants to “complete the KPIs” of their reign.

One of the special messages that both the winner and runner-up emphasized was self-belief. Yolina Lindquist revealed she had received negative comments: “They said I was too bubbly and extroverted, it’s very hard to succeed.” However, she has always been proud of who she is, as those personality traits defined her charm. Sharing their feelings about Vietnam, both girls were delighted with their experiences. Yolina Lindquist said she tries to learn new Vietnamese words every day. Right on the talk show, she even practiced local phrases like “trộm vía” and “trời ơi”. Meanwhile, Chelsea Fernandez was extremely surprised by the punctuality—and even the tendency to be early—of the Vietnamese people, a habit quite different from her home country.
