Neon Eye Makeup From Off-Fall White’s 2021 Runway

This is once again neon in the forefront as the Fall 2021 OFF-WHITE fashion show comes to town. Morgane Martini, a professional makeup artist, showed viewers how to apply a neon graphic eye in an offbeat, modern style using custom-made crayons in Yves Klein blue and neoprene orange.

“Once I learned the name of the event, Lab of Fun, it gave me a vast number of color options, and Virgil wanted dramatic eye makeup,” says Martini. Neon is a metaphor for the presence of light.” These styles needed to provide people a chance to express themselves and to fit their personality, regardless of gender or age.

Let’s learn from Martini, who offers her ideas for producing a fresh, modern-looking neon eye.

1. Less is more

My biggest piece of advice is to avoid using neon in your designs. No need to be too wild. My original goal was to create an accessory that complemented, rather than replaced, the beauty of my natural appearance. “I only wanted it to be a tiny detail—a touch of color or a dot of eyeliner at the inner corner of the eye makes for a powerful statement.”

2. Go graphic

They added some of the current and hip to the party. It seemed more like an adornment for the eye than cosmetics.

To get the overall feel, I utilized tape and a pencil. All you have to do is align the tape. It is current and inventive in an instant, with a style that is both audacious and reserved. “It’s good to keep things fresh and provide new features.”

3. Avoid the lash line

The final thing to make sure is that it doesn’t get into the lash line and the lashes. When applying your makeup, use a cotton swab dampened with micellar water to remove any errors.

4. Keep it simple

You need to be modest about using neon since it’s such a daring color on its own. Looking like you’re heading to Coachella isn’t desirable. I used the colors that I noticed in the collection while making sure they were not overpowering anything.

We kept it monochrome for the graphic line. Blue and orange are combined in other styles, however, for example, in my styling of Joan Smalls, the orange color was less vibrant. I choose to keep things simple; often, simplicity is more powerful. “The more you utilize, it will begin to lose effect, becoming gimmicky.”

5. Leave everything else natural

For perfect neon eye makeup, we decided to make the makeup genderless, so we used fresh skin and kept it basic and clean. Instead of using makeup, I didn’t even have the models apply blush, contour, or mascara. We had as minimally dressed as we could get them.
