While the white chocolate is an added bonus, if you prefer milk or semisweet chocolate, go ahead and use it. While using Greek yogurt with honey eliminates the need for additional sweetener, you can also use plain Greek yogurt and add 1-2 tablespoons of honey to taste.

Popsicles with Frozen Yogurt Matcha recipe

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, matcha powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Divide the mixture equally between six ice pop molds. Fill each mold halfway with a wooden ice pop stick and freeze for at least 6 hours.
  3. Just before serving, melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water, being careful that the bottom of the bowl does not come into contact with the water in the pan. Stir until completely melted and set aside.
  4. Take the ice pop molds out of the freezer and place them under cold running water for a few seconds to allow the frozen yogurt pops to release from the molds. Dip into the melted chocolate or drizzle the chocolate over the sides with a spoon. Cacao nibs and hazelnuts can be sprinkled on top.
  5. Serve immediately after the chocolate has set.
