Sir Daniel Winn: From potential doctor to famous artist

After opening his first gallery in Southern California, by 1997, Daniel Winn expanded his presence with galleries in Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. That same year, he founded Masterpiece Publishing, dedicating the next two decades to mentoring and promoting acclaimed artists, organizing exhibitions across North America and China, and developing his distinctive artistic style, “Existential Surrealism.”

Since 2016, Daniel Winn’s paintings and sculptures have been exhibited in the United States, Spain, China, and Vietnam. In 2019, the Shanghai Art Museum hosted a joint exhibition featuring Daniel Winn’s works alongside those of the surrealist master Salvador Dalí, highlighting the remarkable parallels in technique and symbolism between the two extraordinary artists.

Beyond his artistic achievements, Daniel Winn is a passionate philanthropist. He has raised over $2 million for charitable organizations in the United States and Vietnam and founded the Fine Art Foundation to support underprivileged children and families.

Throughout his career, Daniel Winn has garnered numerous prestigious accolades, including the 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Asian Business Association of Orange County, the 2014 California Senate Resolution Award, and multiple International Gold Medals from the Grand Jury of Mondial Art Academia. As a testament to his philanthropic contributions, he was knighted in 2018 by Prince Waldemar of Schaumburg-Lippe.
