With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry, Thanh Vy has become a beacon of success for the Vietnamese community in the U.S. and a pioneer driving innovation in beauty care globally.
Arriving in the U.S. with only a few dollars in her pocket, she began her journey as a news correspondent for a local Vietnamese television network in Houston, Texas. Coincidentally, the station operated in the same building as a cosmetic surgery clinic, and it was here that she recognized the opportunity to fill a void in the market by providing Permanent Make-Up services. “Quite simply, no one else was doing it at the time, and I saw a way to offer beauty-enhancing services that were minimally invasive but, at the same time, could transform a person’s self-confidence and energy tremendously almost overnight.”
From those humble beginnings, Thanh Vy began to build her business one client at a time until, eventually, she founded VyBrows Academy, a professional training institution specializing in permanent makeup, melasma treatment, eyelash extensions, and hair care. Following this success, she launched VyTality Health and Beauty Cosmeceuticals in Texas, which combines traditional herbal remedies with advanced technology to create luxurious spa-quality hair care products. Her innovative shampoo line, seamlessly integrated into a head spa treatment, has set new standards in the industry, delivering unparalleled relaxation and care.
