TV legend Larry King dies at 87

Celebrity host Larry King – who has been dubbed the “king of television” – was hospitalized at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, earlier this year with symptoms of Covid-19.

According to CNN, Mr. Larry King has type 2 diabetes and has had many serious health problems.

In 1987, he suffered frequent heart attacks and underwent five artificial heart surgeries. By 2017, he revealed his lung cancer diagnosis, but was successfully treated. In 2019, he will continue to have treatment for angina.

After having many health problems, he decided to set up the Larry King Foundation for Heart Disease. This is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help people who cannot pay hospital bills because they do not have insurance.
