Giethoorn is located about 75 miles south of Amsterdam’s central business district. If traveling by public transport, take the train to Zwolle (1,5 hours) and then transfer to the bus to Giethoorn. We suggest that you hire a vehicle in Amsterdam and drive to Giethoorn yourself. A popular alternative is to arrange a luxury bus trip to Giethoorn.
