The US recorded more than 400,000 new Covid-19 infections in just 24 hours, nearly double the old record

On December 20, Reuters reported, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that the US had recorded more than 400,000 new coronavirus infections in just 24 hours.
