Ms. Hoa received the Ao Dai Artisan Certificate from UNESCO Vietnam in recognition of her diligent efforts to preserve the traditional ao dai identity after more than 50 years. This collection expresses Ivan Tran’s gratitude to his mother while also advocating the timeless worth of traditional ao dai.

Inspired by the holy motherly love, Ivan Tran created ao dai models for both mother and child. The designs feature soft pastel tones that represent the purity and softness of a mother’s love for her child. Ivan emphasizes the optical illusion, allowing moms to confidently wear ao dai without worrying about changes in their figure after years of caring for their children. This is the spiritual gift that the designer wishes to bestow on moms, allowing them to love their bodies more and be more confident in life.

Not only does Qua Can Tho Tailor Shop develop the designs for the “Gao Nang Tho” collection, but it also represents the link between traditional and modern. Ivan Tran thinks that these designs will not only enhance but also inspire, the spiritual significance of motherhood.
