Hong Kong (China) attempts to curb the 4th wave of COVID-19 infections

The Hong Kong Health Protection Center (CHP) said that on November 27, Hong Kong (China) had recorded 92 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of SARS-CoV-2 infections at This special administrative zone exceeds 6,000 patients. The above situation has prompted the Hong Kong (China) authorities to warn about the 4th outbreak of COVID-19 in this special administrative zone. Hong Kong (China) has seen a rapid increase in the number of new infections starting on November 19. In the last 5 consecutive days, the number of confirmed new cases in the community is always over 60 cases.

Since November 26, Hong Kong (China) health officials have tightened restrictions to prevent the virus from spreading. Accordingly, bars, nightclubs, karaoke bars and discotheques must be closed until December 2. Live classes in elementary schools were suspended for two weeks.
