Melania Trump is ‘counting the minutes until divorce’ when Donald leaves the White House after their 15-year ‘transactional marriage’

“Mrs. Melania is counting every minute until her husband leaves the White House so he can proceed with the divorce proceedings. If Melania leaves while Mr. Trump is still president, he will find some way to punish his wife,” Omarasa Manigault Newman, a fired White House aide, told Mail Sunday.

According to Newman, the 50-year-old First Lady sees her marriage with Mr. Trump over and is waiting after Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration next January to formalize her intention to divorce.

Ms. Newman – who made the statement in the book that tells Unhinged the end – also previously said that the Trump family had “a very strange marriage”.

“I am very cautious when commenting on marriage because you never know what’s going on behind closed doors. However, I have known the president and his wife since they were dating. The two got married a year after The Apprentice aired. What I have observed over the past 17 years can be confusing. Sometimes they love each other, but sometimes Mr. Trump treats his wife a little rude, “ Newman said.

The former aide confirmed Ms. Melania’s feelings for her husband even more when she seemed to pull her hand out of Mr. Trump’s after the first presidential debate session. This was one of those occasions when Melania refused to hold her husband’s hand, and Newman insists it was her way of deliberately embarrassing Mr. Trump.

According to Sun, Donald Trump married Melania, a former Slovenian model, in her third marriage in 2005. There have been rumors that Melania opposed her husband running for the presidency and burst into tears when he won the 2016 election.

“She never expected her husband to win,” said a friend of Mrs. Melania’s.

The US First Lady also waited five months to move from New York to Washington, citing their son, Barron “needs to finish school.”

Meanwhile, another former aide, Stephanie Wolkoff, confirmed that Melania was the one who actively negotiated the post-divorce deal so that Barron would receive a portion of Trump’s assets.

Wolkoff also said the US presidents slept in their separate rooms at the White House and had “a transaction-packed marriage”.

Wolkoff, a former director of special events at Vogue magazine, was a longtime friend and assistant to Mrs. Melania before the two ended a relationship.

“I believe it was a marriage agreement and a transaction between the two sides. Melania used to be a young model, not yet achieved much success. After getting to know Mr. Trump, she agreed to get married and become a young model. American citizen. The couple has a son and then 10 years later, she becomes First Lady”, Wolkoff writes in the book.

As for Ms. Melania, despite the times showing her attitude of not cooperating with her husband in public, she confirmed that she had a “very wonderful” relationship with her husband. Mr Trump also said they never quarreled.

Stephanie Grisham, spokeswoman for Melania, said of Newman’s August book: “Mrs. Melania rarely comes into contact with Omarosa. It is disappointing that she behaves that way, especially after the opportunities the president has given her.”

Trump also publicly tweeted that Newman’s claims had “zero credibility,” while press secretary Sarah Sanders said Newman’s book was “full of lies and false accusations”.
