Miss Ha Kieu Anh and the Dream Nurturing Unit had a meaningful trip to Long An, Vietnam on Tet.
In early February, Miss Ha Kieu Anh, as the Association’s President and the Dream Nurturing went to Long Huu Tay commune and Long Huu Dong commune, Can Duoc district, Long An province, Vietnam to organize a meaningful volunteer program in the occasion of Spring Giap Thin 2024. The program takes place at the Center for Culture, Sports, and Community Learning and has the presence of local government representatives.
At the program, the Dream Nurturing Unit awarded more than 100 Tet gifts to children in difficult circumstances in the area. In addition, the association also came to survey the circumstances of some especially difficult children. Miss Ha Kieu Anh said that for situations that need help, the association is always ready to connect with sponsors to jointly sponsor monthly tuition fees and nurture their learning dreams until 18 years old.
Accompanying Miss Ha Kieu Anh’s trip, in addition to members of the Dream Nurturing Unit and sponsors, there was also the presence of her son Vuong Khoi and daughter Huynh Viann. The queen shared that she wants to take her children to volunteer programs so that they have the opportunity to better understand situations where they are less fortunate but constantly strive to improve, thereby inspiring the spirit of kindness and a striving attitude to life for her children.
“In 2024, the Dream Nurturing Unit will implement many activities with long-term support. Just like the name of the branch, we aim to “nurture dreams” for children by accompanying them long-term in life and especially in learning, not just helping when needed or not. on some occasions. This year will be a hectic year for me as the Branch President. But this busyness will make me very happy!” – Miss Ha Kieu Anh confided.
Previously, the Dream Nurturing Unit officially announced it would come into operation on January 15, 2024. The Association was established with the function of protecting children’s rights according to the provisions of the 2016 Children’s Law and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child through the following forms: Legal advice, protection of children’s rights; legal aid; training/propagating knowledge about Children’s Rights and self-protection skills; connect with organizations and individuals who are willing to volunteer, support and care for children in special circumstances; participate in coordinating and monitoring issues related to child protection.
The Dream Nurturing Unit also announced the current Executive Board at the introduction event. According to the decision of the Branch Executive Committee, the responsibility of the Head was assigned to Miss Vietnam 1992 – Ha Kieu Anh and the Deputy was assumed by businessman Nguyen Huynh Nhu.
