At the present time, there is no record of human damage. However, 12 fishermen are missing because they could not return to the shore in time on the east coast.

They have been missing for 24 hours. They should have returned from noon on October 25,” – quoted Gremil Alexis Naz from the Civil Defense Service. Rescue and search work is already underway, he added.

It is known that the Molave is the 17th storm to hit the Philippines in 2020. It comes right after tropical storm Saudel that caused severe flooding in many southeastern provinces a week ago.

Currently, Albay province has allowed 15,000 people to return, but many areas are still flooded and there is no electricity to use. Even so, the level of warnings is still very high in Manila and neighboring provinces.

As expected, the Molave storm will leave the Philippines on the morning of October 27 and head to the south central part of Vietnam.
