Step 2: Describing your feelings.

Now that you are calm, ask yourself, how are you feeling? Happy, angry, worried, or empty? Don’t blame yourself for having negative feelings. The key to step 2 is to relax and be honest with yourself so that you can tap into specific emotions and feelings flooding you. Are you worried, scared, or exhausted? That “ocean” of yours, slowly sinks in, feel and describe it.

Step 4: Linking the stress to a color.

Step 5: Allowing the stress to fade.

When the stress gets named, located, and appears in color, it’s time for it to go away. Imagine those feelings being pushed out of your body. Can you feel it rising from your chest and evaporating out of your head like steam or a dark cloud?
