On November 6, CNN, AP and many other US media all announced that Mr. Biden won in the battle state of Pennsylvania and passed the 270 votes needed to win the final and elect the president.
With the victory in Pennsylvania (with 20 electoral votes), Mr. Biden did not need to wait until the results of the remaining states have not completed the counting of votes.

Mr. Biden won in the traditional Democratic states and made a sudden turnaround at the last minute when he won in key battlefield states of Wisconsin, Michigan and most recently Pennsylvania. This victory brought him back to the White House, but no longer as vice-general of the president, but as the man who will govern America.

Mr. Biden is also the recipient of the most popular votes in US presidential election history, more than the record of Mr. Barack Obama (69,498,516 votes) in 2008. With this victory, Mr. Biden will be the oldest president in American history.
