Supporters expect Mr. Trump’s sons and daughters to run for the US presidency in 2024

After Joe Biden won 290 electoral votes and was simultaneously named by news outlets as the president-elect of the United States, Mr. Trump’s chances of winning a chair in the White House are almost gone. Although Mr. Trump did not accept the results, declaring to initiate the proceedings on 9 November, his fans seem to have gradually given up hope.

Trump fans are now turning their attention to the 74-year-old president’s eldest children Donald Jr., 42, and Eric, 36, as well as daughter Ivanka, 39, hoping one of them will follow in the footsteps of his father running for the US presidency in 2024, when Mr. Joe Biden ends his term.

Mr. Trump also has a teenage son, Barron, 14, and daughter Tiffany, 27. Usually the US president must be at least 35 years old.

“I hope eventually Don, Ivanka and Eric will all run for the president,” Nick Rocco, a fan of Mr. Trump, told the New York Times. “I assure you, if you have 69 million Trump supporters, and you say ‘Is it okay if Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump are president?’, a lot of people would agree 100% “.

Meanwhile, others told Donald Trump Jr. on Twitter: “Look forward to seeing your name on the 2024 election” or “Please run for president in 2024”.

There’s even a group formed on Facebook, calling on Trump’s daughter Ivanka, who is now a senior adviser at the White House, to race for the presidency. Others posted Twitter, saying they believed Eric would follow in his father’s footsteps.

Republican strategist Seth Weathers also wrote: “Don Jr 2024!”.

After nearly 4 days of counting votes, many news outlets on November 7 named Joe Biden as president-elect, Mr. Trump still insisted that this race was not over.

“Since when does the Lame Media have the right to name who is the next US president?” President Donald Trump said sarcastically in a Twitter post on November 8.

US President Donald Trump’s closest people began to split because of his repeated refusal to accept the 2020 election results, including First Lady Melania and her son-in-law Jared Kushner, husband Ivanka Trump. They advised him to accept the victory of the new President Joe Biden.

Meanwhile, Trump’s two oldest sons, Donald Jr Trump and Eric Trump, have urged allies to continue to protest. They called on Republicans and supporters to openly reject the results, even as news outlets reported that Biden won the November 7 race to the White House with 290 electoral votes.
