The latest Worldometer website statistics show that the US is still the country most affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in the world. The total number of cases was approximately 6.4 million and nearly 192,000 cases died. Meanwhile, China recorded just over 85,000 cases with 4,634 deaths.
Speaking at a press conference on the evening of September 4 (US time), President Trump said that China has a higher number of deaths from coronavirus than the US. The White House leader said this was because Beijing did not complete statistics or report incorrectly on the number of patients who died from the epidemic. He even believes there are other countries with more deaths than the United States.
Mr. Trump asserted that the US has “reversed the situation” in the response to the pandemic. However, he recommends that people adhere to social distance and wear anti-epidemic masks on the weekends.
Controversy when the US vaccine was introduced
The US Agency for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently confirmed to CNN that the agency has sent a letter to the states requesting the preparation of the large-scale distribution of the preventive Covid-19 vaccine in late October and early November.
